Panagiotis Kassavetis, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at George Washington University and a board-certified neurologist specializing in movement disorders at the George Washington University Hospital. He directs clinical and research efforts in advanced therapies for movement disorders, including deep brain stimulation, MRI-guided focused ultrasound, and botulinum toxin injections. Dr. Kassavetis collaborates across neurology, neurosurgery, and biomedical engineering to develop patient-centered technologies for Parkinson’s disease and related disorders.
