Dr. Huda Asfour earned her B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering in 2006 and 2012, respectively, from the George Washington University (GW). She completed her postdoctoral training at Duke University before returning to GW. She currently serves as a research scientist and adjunct professor here. A multidisciplinary researcher with training in optical imaging, tissue engineering, and signal and image processing, her main research interests are developing software and hardware solutions for advancing cardiac imaging, in addition to a special interest in 21st engineering education.
