Kevin Cleary

Kevin Cleary is the Associate Director for Engineering in the Sheikh Zayed Institute (SZI) for Pediatric Surgical Innovation at Children’s National Hospital. His research interests include biomedical devices, medical robotics, and technology development for image-guided interventions. As the engineering lead at SZI, he works with clinical faculty at Children’s to develop new devices and systems to improve pediatric medical care. In particular, he has received NIH funding to develop several systems for MRI-guided interventions and is working to move these devices to first in human trials.
