BME students Shannon Toole, Aidan Murray, and Pannie Xu took home the top award in the undergraduate research category at the 2018 SEAS Student R&D Showcase. All three students are advised by Murray Loew and won Best Undergraduate Poster with “Ultrasound-Enhanced Drug Delivery for Treatment of Onychomycosis.”
Also winning in the undergraduate research category were Alina Kline-Schoder and Tania Singh, who tied for a Runner-up award. Alina is advised by Vesna Zderic and Zung Le (Department of Podiatry). Her poster was “Ultrasound-Enhanced Drug Delivery for Treatment of Onychomycosis.” Tania Singh is advised by Vesna Zderic, Emilia Entcheva, Aleksandra Klimas, and Ivan Suarez Castellanos. Her poster was “A Mechanistic Study of Ultrasound-Induced Insulin Release.”
